Winter Reading at Parramatta City Library has come out. In this issue, we have new fiction titles, non fiction titles, and recent book awards titles. What I’m most interested in are the titles translated from other languages. Here is the list of translations.

Salvation Army by Abdellah Tala, translated from the French

The beast of the Camargue by Xavier-Marie Bonnot, translated from the French

Bride flight by Marieke van der Pol, translated from the Dutch

The castle in the Pyrenees by Jostein Gaarder, translated from the Norwegian

Consolation by Anna Gavalda, translated from the French

Croc attack! by Assaf Gavron, translated from the Hebrew

Dark matter by Jull Zeh, translated from the German

The death of Artemio Cruz by Carlos Fuentes, translated from the Spanish

The frozen heart by Almudena Grandes, translated from the Spanish

The ides of March by Valerio Massimo Manfredi, translated from the Italian

The library of shadows by Mikkel Birkegaard, translated from the Danish

Well, stay cosy and warm, enjoy reading.
