At our November meeting for our 2nd Tuesday Evening Reading Group we discussed Life of Pi by Yann Martel
This book was very easy to read. Its descriptive language pulls you into the story and creates amazing images.
Even though the storyline is somewhat improbable, the detail given keeps the book flowing, after all being the sole survivor of a shipwreck along with a zebra and a Bengali tiger is an amazing scenario.
The book develops as an amazing survival story. The life story of Pi which unfolds from his early childhood is very interesting,
Though we didn’t find the book to be “life changing” it was certainly well worth reading and we would recommend it to others.
