Book Clubs

Book Clubs are a great way of sharing your love of reading with like-minded people in a fun and casual way.

There are many ways to get involved in book clubs….

Library Book Clubs

City of Parramatta Libraries internal book clubs meet monthly at different Library branches to discuss books, share ideas and have fun in a casual friendly environment. To enquire about joining one of our groups email bookclubs@cityofparramatta.nsw.gov.au let us know your name, phone number, preferred library and if you are interested in a daytime or evening group. You can expect a reply within seven (7) business days (probably much less).

Book Club Kits

City of Parramatta Libraries is committed to supporting community book clubs. 

If you’re already a member, simply complete the Book Club Registration Form-2023  A registration fee of $50 is payable when you collect your first book club kit, and an annual subscription fee of $50 is payable every twelve (12) months after your first payment. If you are not a member of the library you can register for free online then visit any of our libraries with proof of name and address to finalise your membership.

Each book kit contains ten (10) copies of the same book and come packaged in a handy tote bag. The collection consists of fiction, non-fiction, memoirs & biographies for you to choose from. Book club kits can be borrowed for up to six (6) weeks.
