To celebrate reading and share your joy of books, Parramatta City Library will host a  ‘Read Aloud’ event on Oct 29th, from 10 am to 1 pm.

Caroline Jones, the repected televsion journalist and presenter, will be coming in for discussion and be the first to read aloud, She will also talk about her latest book ‘Through a glass darkly‘, which is one of ’50 books you can’t put down’ as recommended by ‘Books Alive 2009‘.

There will be some local writers coming to join read aloud. Members from the library reading groups will also participate in this event.
