New books will be published this year in the Sherlock Holmes (originally written by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle) and James Bond (by Ian Fleming) series.
Popular children’s author Anthony Horowitz, creator of the teen spy Alex Rider, has been chosen by Conan Doyle’s family for the return of the famous detective in September.
Meanwhile US thriller writer Jeffrey Deaver has penned the latest Bond novel, Carte Blanche, for release in May. The book features 007 in a contemporary story set partly in the Middle East.
