Then come along to PARRAMATTA LIBRARY’S Author Talk on Wednesday 5th June  @ 1pm with Derek & Julia Parker.

The Parkers are recognised as the world’s most knowledgeable couple on all things astrology and have produced countless works on a range of topics from the arts, life, love and the messages of the universe. Their latest adventure is Poems of Love and Life – twelve unique anthologies of poems directly relating the to Sun-signs.

Come along to Parramatta Library and hear Derek & Julia talk.

Miles Franklin Award – Shortlist Annouced

Its a all female shortlist for the 2013 Miles Franklin Literary Award.

Regarded as Australia’s oldest and most prestigious literary prize, the 2013 Miles Franklin Award shortlist, features five of Australia’s most talented female authors – including three first time novelists.

The Miles Franklin Literary Award was established with proceeds from the estate of My Brilliant Career author, Stella Maria Sarah Miles Franklin, to support and encourage authors of Australian literature. Continue reading →
